Watch: Alex Borg – I Want To See More Youths Involved In PN
PN leader candidate Alex Borg said he wants to see more youths involved in the Nationalist Party.
Borg, who said the party needs a “generational change” in leadership, told Lovin Malta that youths should play an extremely active role.
“We must obviously support experienced people and learn from them, but we must be a living party that gives space to youths.”
“Youths shouldn’t just watch on from the sidelines, but catalysts and an essential part of current politics, because they are ultimately the future generation.”
While Borg didn’t speak of any particular policies that could attract youths to the party, he pledged to run an issues-based campaign.
“I will speak about many issues in my upcoming campaign, and I will show my vision – which is based on experienced people and youths alike.”
