Watch: Alex Borg Wants To Restructure Mass Meetings And Sunday Speeches
PN leader candidate Alex Borg said he intends to restructure mass meetings and Sunday political speeches to make them more appealing to youths.
In a recent interview with Lovin Malta, Borg was asked how he will make the PN more attractive to youths, with multiple surveys indicating that PL enjoys a significant lead among this cohort of voters.
“First of all, you need to introduce a sense of enthusiasm,” he responded. “If there isn’t enthusiasm, but rather apathy as there often was unfortunately, then youths won’t come forward.”
Borg went on to say that PN mass meetings should be restructured in a way that makes them more appealing to youths, such as by sandwiching political speeches between pre-parties and an after-party.
He said that the PN’s weekly Sunday speeches should also be restructured, such as by holding them at more informal and apolitical settings such as cafeterias.
