Another set of dustbins burst into flames yesterday evening along the promenade in Buġibba as passersby walked on.

The fiery blaze was extinguished by a group of workers from a nearby establishment, who rushed to the pavement with fire extinguishers in hand.

No one was injured in the ordeal. It is unclear what caused the fire. 

This is the second bin which was caught in a blaze over the last two days, with Valletta’s city gate also seeing a similar scene yesterday afternoon.
