This Movember, eCabs is taking action in a bold way with the launch of a new rides category, ‘Cab bil-Bajd’, created to support male cancer awareness throughout November.

With every ride in this category, 50 cents will be donated to the recently established Male Cancer Awareness and Support Foundation (MCASF), which plays a vital role in promoting early cancer detection, education, and support for men and their families facing cancer diagnoses.

Movember, an annual movement dedicated to raising awareness for male health issues such as prostate and testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention, is at the heart of this initiative.

eCabs CEO Andrew Bezzina expressed the importance of this campaign, saying, “Movember is a time to take action, and we really wanted to grab this important issue by the balls. That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce ‘Cab bil-Bajd’ as a way for our riders to contribute directly to an issue that affects so many men and their families.”

The ‘Cab bil-Bajd’ category, offered at the same fare as the popular eCabs GO category, makes it easy for passengers to show their support while booking their usual rides.

Every trip taken in this category helps power MCASF’s mission to ensure men across Malta have access to essential resources, focusing on early detection and education about prostate and testicular cancer.

Founded last month, MCASF grew from a local Facebook group where men affected by cancer could connect, share their experiences, and find support.

Now, as a registered foundation, MCASF continues to provide guidance and resources for men facing cancer, aiming to bring life-saving awareness and solidarity to Malta’s communities.

By choosing ‘Cab bil-Bajd’ this month, eCabs riders have a simple yet impactful way to support Movember’s mission and help drive positive change for male health in Malta.
