Attard’s Labour councillor Victor Galea was reduced to frustrated tears earlier today in an interview with Net News on the latest tragic traffic accident which claimed the life of 17-year-old Kacey Sciberras in the early hours of last night.

“This is a black spot,” Galea said. “We’re fed up of chasing Transport Malta to install speed cameras. Look what happened today. They should be ashamed.”

Galea went on to say that the area gets particularly dangerous over the weekend, with the road becoming a “race track for bikes” on Sundays and an area where drivers exceed 150km/hr after parties just up the road.

“They’re still conducting studies,” Galea finished, tearing up. “The study was conducted last night. We lost a girl like that. It’s not right.”
