Watch: Cab Driver Braves Storm To Remove Tree Fallen On Ta’ Xbiex Road
A cab driver was forced to exit his vehicle and remove a fallen tree that was blocking the road in Ta’ Xbiex earlier today.
In footage sent to Lovin Malta, the driver can be seen braving strong winds and rain to remove a street-side tree that had collapsed onto the road.
As a result, other vehicles could not drive on safely. The driver decides to take matters into his own hands, literally, dragging the medium sized tree to the side of the road, before returning to his vehicle and continuing on his day.
This wasn’t the only tree to collapse today due to strong winds, with emergency authorities called in to assist after a large tree fell in Żejtun
