Watch: Close Encounter With Dolphin Near Comino Coast Leaves Maltese Couple Stunned
One Maltese family’s weekend was taken to the next level after a beautiful close encounter with a wild dolphin whilst out at sea near Comino.
At the time, William Debono and his girlfriend, Elainy, were just catching a few waves while out on their dinghy. Suddenly, their attention was drawn by the fin of a large animal bobbing up and down atop the sunlit seas.
Lo and behold, a dolphin emerged and followed in tandem with the boat, giving William and Elainy an unforgettable experience today.

Reacting quickly, Elainy captured the wholesome moment.
Speaking with Lovin Malta, William remarked that the experience of coming into such close contact with the dolphin was nothing short of beautiful.
With the sun shining and temperatures rising, Maltese people are sure to be seeing some out-of-the-ordinary creatures popping out from beneath the blue.
