WATCH: Daphne Caruana Galizia’s Sister Confronts Justice Minister: ‘Look At My Sister’s Face’

Daphne Caruana Galizia’s sister confronted Justice Minister Owen Bonnici during an impromptu protest around his official car tonight.
As protestors surrounded Bonnici’s car and stopped it from driving away, Mandy Mallia pressed a photo of her late sister to the minister’s windscreen, right where he could see it.
“Look at my sister’s face, this is the last face you should see every night before you sleep,” she told him.
The protestors shouted “corrupt!”, “pulċinelli” “assassins” and “barra” and some banged the minister’s cars with their fists, threw coins at it and stuck stickers of Daphne Caruana Galizia on it. Some also called Bonnici out for directing the Cleansing Department to remove the makeshift memorial to the assassinated journalist in Valletta every night.
In the fracas, a police officer was injured, there were reports of members of the PBS and ONE being attacked, and former leader of the Opposition Simon Busuttil had to personally intervene clear the way for the car to eventually pass.
