Watch: Dashcam Captures Driver Speeding In Wrong Lane As Tragedy Is Narrowly Avoided In Żebbuġ
A tragedy was narrowly avoided as a driver was carelessly speeding down the wrong lane on the Żebbuġ main road.
Dashcam footage shared with Lovin Malta shows the driver sharply dodging the car that was coming onto the opposite lane to overtake cars on the right lane.
The overtaking driver just made it to the correct lane, with a possible tragedy being just mere seconds away.
“Endangering people’s lives,” Arnold Cassola commented upon sharing the shocking video.
The incident occurred on 5th October in the early hours of the day.
In the past few months, such footage is becoming more and more common as drivers are continuing to speak out about dangerous driving on the Maltese islands.
Malta has seen an influx of road accidents this year, with around 20 fatalities having occurred on Malta’s roads in 2022.
