Watch: Driver Narrowly Avoids Head-On Collision With Car Driving Down Wrong Lane In Msida
A driver thanked his lucky stars following a close shave with a vehicle hurtling towards him in a tight, one way road underneath a tunnel.
In footage showing the moment of near collision, the driver brakes and swerves to the left as a black vehicle with a foreign licence plate drives down the wrong way in his lane.
The person taking the footage can be heard exclaiming in surprise right before the vehicles stop and do not make impact fortunately.

The first driver inches past the wrong-way vehicle, continuing on down the road.
The second driver raises their hand to signal their realisation, before reversing back the way they came.
In comments under the video, people couldn’t help but pick up on what the driver can be heard saying.
“To add context, I had just bought eggs from the supermarket and they were on the seat,” the driver reassured Lovin Malta.
