Parts of a railing, pavement and road were damaged after a traffic accident early Monday morning in Swieqi.

Footage of the aftermath of the accident, which led to the car overturning before coming to a rest near a nearby parking spot, shows parts of the railing completely destroyed, with fragments and debris littered on roads both left and right of the ramp.

The accident happened at around 3am.

Police told Lovin Malta that the driver lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons before overturning.

No one was injured in the incident, and LESA officials were called to the scene to assist.
