Watch: ‘Fight For Your Rights’ – ABBA Leader Drops Egg At Candidates’ Feet And Boycotts Debate

ABBA leader Ivan Grech Mintoff dropped an egg on stage during an MEP election debate at the University of Malta today.
Grech Mintoff protested that the debate, which was organised by Lovin Malta, MaltaToday and KSU, was biased in favour of Labour and PN in terms of the speaking time awarded to the candidates.
He dropped an egg on the stage in protest, before walking off the stage and telling people to “fight for their rights”.
This is the second time Grech Mintoff has used eggs as a form of protest. He had previously tossed eggs on stage during a speech Prime Minister Robert Abela gave to commemorate Freedom Day.
