Watch: Fire Breaks Out In San Ġwann’s Protected Wied Il-Għomor
A fire has broken out in San Ġwann’s protected Wied L-Għomor.
Footage and photos sent to Lovin Malta show a cloud of thick black smoke rising from the sizeable green valley.
A spokesperson for Civil Protection Department confirmed with Lovin Malta that CPD officials are currently on-site and the fire is under control.
No one seems to have gotten hurt in the incident.
The valley touches upon a number of localities, including Mensija in San Ġwann and Swieqi, while St Julian’s overlooks it.
