Watch: Fire Erupts At Abandoned St Philip’s Hospital In Santa Venera
A fire has broken out at the abandoned St Philip’s Hospital in Santa Venera.
Footage submitted to Lovin Malta shows a plume of smoke by the building.
A spokesperson for the Civil Protection Department has confirmed the fire, and a fire engine has arrived on site.
So far, it is unclear whether any injuries were sustained, and the cause of the fire hasn’t yet been determined.
This is far from the first time that St Philip’s Hospital has caught on fire, with vandalism being rife in the area.
