WATCH: Footage Emerges Of Audience Members Viciously Fighting During Xarabank Filming
Parliamentary secretary Silvio Schembri has uploaded a video of people coming to blows at the Xarabank studios last night.
The footage shows a man, who Schembri claims is a personal security guard of Opposition leader Adrian Delia, single-handedly pushing a group of people onto the audience seats.
Schembri was on a discussion panel to discuss the situation within the PN, right after Xarabank had interviewed Delia. However, at one point the parliamentary secretary told the presenters he couldn’t focus as a result of an argument that had erupted in the audience, prompting the show to call a commercial break.
PN Secretary General Clyde Puli tries to calm things down
That evening, PN news portal NET reported that the fight was instigated by Schembri’s father, Luqa mayor John Schembri.
PL news portal ONE later uploaded silent footage, allegedly showing PN supporters insulting Silvio Schembri. PN secretary general Clyde Puli was seen trying to calm things down.
However, the parliamentary secretary has now published fresh footage of a man he claims is one of Delia’s own security guards called Terrence Ciantar.
“After they lost the argument, the PN rabble that Adrian Delia brought along with him started offending and attacking people,” he said. “Share this post so that everyone can get to know the truth of what happened during Xarabank.”
