Watch: Gas Truck Releases Large Cloud Of White Smoke In Marsa
A gas truck was spotted emitting large clouds of white smoke into the air in Marsa.
Footage sent to Lovin Malta shows the tanker stopped at the side of the road with what appears to be smoke coming out from the back.
The video was taken at around 8.40am this morning in Triq Aldo Moro in Marsa.
Lovin Malta reached out to the company that owns the tanker, Multigas, who explained that “the truck had a problem but now it has been resolved”.
A spokesperson for Multigas said the release was triggered by the normal operation of a safety valve to regulate pressure within the container.
“These safety valves are standard on all static and transportable gas containers and are a key feature that ensures the safe storage transportation of ‘gases’.”
It has been confirmed that the gases which were being emitted from the tanker were not of a dangerous nature.
