Watch: Grech Says Claims PN MPs Skiving Off Government Jobs Are Merely A ‘Frame-Up’
Bernard Grech dismissed claims that PN MPs who work with the government are skiving off work as a “frame-up” by the Labour Party.
Grech addressed these allegations against MPs Toni Bezzina, Justin Schembri and David Agius during a recent F Living interview.
“A year and a half ago, when we were discussing Rosianne Cutajar’s fake consultancy job, the same allegations emerged but they died down and stopped being mentioned,” he said.
“Now that we’re pressuring them [over the Amanda Muscat consultancy], they’re trying to shut us up by inventing these stories.”
Grech argued that, if the allegations are true, then the government is ultimately responsible for allowing the MPs to skive off work.
“If it’s true, then the ministers are responsible so why are they allowing these things to go on? Some investigations are ongoing and hopefully they’ll clear their names because this is clearly a frame-up and an attempt to shut us up.”
