Watch: Ħamrun Turns Into A Sea Of Blue And Red As San Gejtanu Feast Returns

Ħamrun’s streets turned into seas of red and blue as the town celebrated St Gejtanu, which might be Malta’s biggest march.

The streets were decorated with banners, statues, and traditional bandas playing around Ħamrun.

The two rival band clubs – Tal-Miskina, and Tat-Tamal, are only 200 metres apart, despite the town being halved in red and blue, at one point members of both band clubs marched to taunt the other in a traditional festa way.

Several people who attended the feast took to their social media to share highlights and what the overall vibe was like yesterday in Ħamrun.
