Watch: He’s Done It! Neil Agius Completes Epic, World-Record Breaking 140km Swim
Maltese ultra-endurance athlete Neil Agius completed a world-breaking 140-km swim this evening.
After swimming around the entire length of Malta and Gozo and a large chunk of Malta again over a course of three days, Neil completed his swim at Għar Lapsi.
A large crowd gathered to welcome Neil as he came out of the water and sat on a chair without any assistance.
At the end of the journey, Neil had enough energy left in the tank to utter a quick “Forza Malta”.
