Watch: Hooded Thieves Break Into Marsaskala Restaurant Which Suffers Its Third Robbery In Recent Months
Thieves broke into a restaurant in the heart of Marsaskala early this morning, making off with a cash register and an iPad.
CCTV footage from Angela’s Restaurant shows two hooded and masked men approaching the establishment and surveying the surroundings before forcing the front door open and climbing in.
The robbery was over within a matter of minutes, between 1:49am and 1:52am.

Angela’s Restaurant owner Antoine Bugeja told Lovin Malta that this has become a recurring problem for him and that thieves broke into his restaurant twice last year alone.
Although he installed an alarm system, which went off as soon as the men broke in, the fact that the robbery was so fast meant there wasn’t enough time to apprehend them.
“It’s unbelievable,” he said. “It’s not even like our restaurant is in some abandoned location; we’re situated in the very centre of Marsaskala.”
