Watch: ‘How Many People?!’ Bidnija Gamers Stunned By Sudden Police Raid
A group of online gamers was stunned when their livestream was disrupted by a sudden police raid.
A large police team descended on a Bidnija residence last night after receiving a phone call that hostages were being held there.
However, it turned out to be a case of swatting – an online prank common in the US whereby people warn the police of a serious crime to send them on site and disrupt a gamer’s progress.
Video footage of the stream shows the police shouting at the gamers, telling them to keep their hands where they can see them and demanding to know how many people were in the residence.
