Watch: ‘I Hope You Paid For Your Licence’ – Prime Minister Aims Dig At Sarah Bajada In Parliament
Prime Minister Robert Abela aimed a dig at Alex Borg’s partner Sarah Bajada after the PN leader arrived late to Parliament yesterday.
“Since the Opposition Leader said he arrived late because he was stuck in traffic, I hope that he had paid for his vehicle licence and insurance,” Abela said.
This was a clear dig at Bajada, who last month issued a public apology after she was caught driving with an expired licence and insurance.
Talk about traffic featured in yesterday’s parliamentary discussion about the situation in the Middle East.
After Abela called out Borg for arriving late to the sitting, the PN leader retorted that, unlike the Prime Minister, he doesn’t have an escort to pass through traffic.
