Watch: ‘It’s Such A Surreal Moment’: Sliema’s Anne Camilleri Crowned Miss Malta Winner
Malta announced Miss Sliema as its winner for 2023 in a sensational ceremony last night.
Anne Camilleri, who currently lives in Sliema but is originally from Ħal-Balzan, was exhilarated to make it to the finals – let alone win the competition.
Speaking to Lovin Malta, Camilleri expressed that she’s at a loss for words and grateful for winning such a title.
“First of all it’s such a surreal moment for me to win the title of Miss Malta, I am truly grateful!”
When asked what message she wants to send out to anyone wanting to follow the same route Anne spoke to Lovin Malta about the importance of not giving up.
“Finally I would like to say to all the younger generation to always follow your dreams and never give up.”

“Thanks a lot, I feel honored for having this title. I know for sure next year I will be working with the women up next, guiding them and helping them out for a great upcoming Miss Malta next year.”
The icon has already received a waterfall of heart-warming congratulations on her win.
