Watch: Jason Azzopardi – ‘There Is A Corruption Case In Almost Every Courtroom’
Jason Azzopardi remarked that lawyers have been discussing amongst themselves that a case involving alleged government corruption is occupying nearly every courtroom on the ground floor.
“Let’s understand the seriousness of the situation in court,” Azzopardi said on NET TV.
“An ongoing case of government corruption is being heard in practically every single courtroom on the ground floor. One courtroom is presiding over the social benefits case, another over the Housing Authority addresses case, another over the letterbox case.”
“We lawyers speak among ourselves and remark that a case of corruption is being heard in practically every courtroom. It is an unprecedented situation but it means we’re making progress.”
