Watch: ‘Kattiverija’ – Cassola Warns Msida Flyover Will Pass In Front Of People’s Bathrooms

Momentum leader Arnold Cassola accused Infrastructure Malta of “cruelty” towards Msida residents over their choice of location for the flyover.
At a conference organised by the Malta Institute of Management, Cassola warned that the flyover will pass right in front of residents’ windows.
“They could have passed it behind Għajn tal-Ħasselin where there are old buildings but they’re cruel so they had to pass it in front of people’s bathrooms and bedrooms,” he said.
“And then they talk about mental health problems. Of course there are mental health problems if everywhere is grey and full of concrete. Now cars will speed past and make noises while passing through speed bumps.”
“They don’t care about residents and human beings.”
He also warned that the project itself won’t solve traffic problems in the area as cars will end up getting blocked near the Msida Skatepark.
“They’re going to need to build a third flyover between the Msida and Kappara ones,” he claimed.
