WATCH: La Repubblica Trailer For Daphne Caruana Galizia Assassination Documentary
Italian newspaper La Repubblica has released the trailer for its upcoming documentary into the car bomb assassination of journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia last October.
The film, written by Italian journalists Carlo Bonini, Giuliano Foschini, Emilio Fabio Torsello and Diana Ligorio, features interviews with several people, including with Maria Efimova, one of Caruana Galizia’s sources for her famous Egrant story. Other contributors include PN MEP David Casa, journalists Caroline Muscat and Manuel Delia, French MEP Eva Jolie, writer Michelle Fenech Pace, Caruana Galizia’s friend Petra Caruana Dingli and photographer Daniel Cilia.
It will be shown exclusively for the first time at the International Journalism Festival in Perugia tonight, before premiering to the public at the University of Malta next Saturday. Tickets, which are being sold here for €10 each, have already almost sold out.
Coincidentally, the event will be held a day after the one-year anniversary of Caruana Galizia’s most explosive story – in which she claimed the Prime Minister’s wife owns the offshore Panama company Egrant.
