“We would like to inform you that the La Valette lounge at departures is currently closed due to an incident resulting from the inclement weather we have been experiencing,” MIA told Lovin Malta following the incident
“Our teams are currently working towards the safe reopening of the lounge.”
In the footage, a part of the ceiling can be seen to have fallen as would-be passengers stay at a safe distance away from the debris
