Watch: Lovin Malta’s Full 100-Minute Interview With Jason Micallef

PL activist Jason Micallef sat down with Lovin Malta this week for an extensive 100-minute interview.

In his interview, Micallef explained why he decided not to run for the post of PL Deputy Leader for Party Affairs and offered a different interpretation to Robert Abela’s veiled criticism of him during a recent Lovin Malta interview.

Micallef also spoke to Tim Diacono about the June elections, Joseph Muscat, Robert Abela’s “establishment” rhetoric, overpopulation, youths wanting to leave Malta, the PL’s media, the re-pedestrianisation of Mosta’s village square, and the Once Upon a Time in Malta feature.

In light of his new role as PL special delegate for the implementation of the election manifesto, Micallef discussed the PL’s major promise to build an underground tunnel beneath Floriana’s Triq Sant’ Anna, which has now been deemed unfeasible.

He also offered his take on other PL promises, such as land reclamation and free gender reassignment surgery for trans people.
