Watch: Man Filmed Stealing And Walking Away With Candy Delivery Scooter In Ħamrun
A Maltese candy outlet has appealed for the public’s help after their branded delivery scooter was stolen in Ħamrun in the dead of night.
“Someone stole my Giacomino Piaggio Typhoon 125 last night,” Sandro Grech of Miss Ellen’s Travelling Treats said on social media, sharing footage of the incident.
The footage, filmed just before 2am on Saturday 17th December, appears to show a thin man wearing a helmet approach the parked scooter in a quiet Ħamrun road. After a few seconds, the thief begins to move the parked scooter before rolling away with it, pushing the handlebars as he begins to run and pick up speed.

Grech asked if anyone had any information on the robbery, with Miss Ellen’s going one step further, jokingly offering “one free gummy bear” to whoever shares the post highlighting the robbery.
Fans of the store shared their sympathy, with some asking if any other nearby stores had CCTV that could shed further light on what happened.
The scooter itself is recognisable, often seen around Malta as well as during events, eye-catchingly branded with Miss Ellen’s bright pink logo over a noticeable green background.
If you have any information about this robbery you can speak to the police, even in confidence, by going to a local police station or calling on 21224001/119.
