A man is in an ambulance on the way to hospital after trying to stop a Tallinja bus from rolling back at the Park and Ride in Floriana this afternoon.

A spokesperson from the police told Lovin Malta that the vehicle was rolling back on its own when a man tried to stop it, he got caught between the vehicle and a wall and is being taken to hospital.

Footage posted by One News shows emergency responders tending to the man as he was being transported to an ambulance. The bus shown in the footage is a Tallinja vehicle with a learner sign stuck to the front.
