Malta’s biggest pro-Palestine protest yet is currently happening in Valletta as activists led by Moviment Graffitti march and demand a ceasefire in Gaza.

A few thousands turned up in Valletta, including many youths, to show their solidarity with Palestine and all those affected, as the conflict continues to grow and cause widespread destruction and fatalities.

“Free Palestine,” attendees chanted, as many held up banners reading “End Genocide” and “Resistance is not terrorism”. 

The Palestine Ambassador even praised students for picketing European Parliament President Roberta Metsola earlier this week, for her actions since the war broke out.

To date, more than 9,200 people have been killed in Gaza, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza which is run by Hamas.
