Watch: Michelle Muscat Endorses PL’s Daniel Attard For ‘Courage To Defend Our Name’
Michelle Muscat has publicly endorsed PL MEP candidate Daniel Attard and told his supporters he deserves to be rewarded for defending her and her family.
Muscat praised Attard for acting like a “shield” for her and her husband, former Prime Minister Joseph Muscat, in recent months.
“You were one of the few who had the immense courage to defend our name,” she said at his recent campaign launch.
“I would like to say this publicly because not everyone has your courage and you should be rewarded for it.”
This isn’t Michelle Muscat’s first appearance on the campaign trail, and she has also attended the campaign launch of MEP candidate Clint Azzopardi Flores, who happens to be an old childhood friend of hers.
Meanwhile, Joseph Muscat has said he is considering running for the election himself, in what would be his first foray back into politics since resigning as Prime Minister in the midst of the 2019 political crisis.
