A volunteer-led clean-up in Valley Road, Msida, led to an unlikely find, as volunteers in the group happened upon a mound of discarded office equipment.
Members of the group – Say No To Litter In Swatar – recorded footage of the find, which is now making the rounds on social media.
From stacks of discarded computer monitors to boxes of telephones and broken receivers; anything you’d expect to find after a massive office clear out.
A member of the volunteer group raised the question: “Does anyone know what company updated their systems?” on the popular Facebook group Expats Malta.
Within the mounds of litter, company names – including phone numbers and other sensitive information – remain present, and are now being investigated by the police.
