Thanks to extensive consultation and planning before the project’s start, special arrangements have been put in place to minimise disruptions for the public while the necessary infrastructure work takes place. New routes have been created to ensure smoother traffic flow while work continues to benefit Msida in the long run.

Bonett expressed his satisfaction with the progress made so far and thanked the teams at Infrastructure Malta and Transport Malta for their coordination to keep the area accessible and safe for both drivers and alternative transport users.

Steve Ellul, CEO of Infrastructure Malta, also provided updates on upcoming work, including the construction of two additional pillars for the flyover linking Msida to Tal-Qroqq, and a new bridge that will connect Msida’s shoreline to the Pietà area.

Infrastructure Malta is also making sure to maintain continuous contact with the local council and regularly issue updates through media and social platforms to keep the public informed about the latest developments.
