Watch: Nadur Carnival Addressed More Issues Than PBS, PN Local Council Candidate Warns

PN Dingli local council candidate Jean Paul Barbara came out swinging against PBS by warning that the Nadur carnival addressed more issues than the national broadcaster.

“Nadur carnival-goers touched on more themes than PBS, this is how ridiculous the situation is,” Barbara said on NET TV show Analiżi.

“Rather than being used as a tool to inform us of current affairs, PBS just provides constantly positive updates about what the government is doing, then it reports on what Robert Abela, ministers and PL MPs says, and then at the end it remembers what the PN said.”

“Is that a serious PBS? It’s a ridiculous situation. Rather than being fair and presenting the proper news, it only reports on the government.”

This year’s carnival satirised several issues, and a group of people even dressed up as pigs in a dig at MP Rosianne Cutajar’s infamous “Kulħadd jitħanżer” message to Yorgen Fenech.
