WATCH: Owen Bonnici Refuses To Say Who Falsified Egrant Documents, Claims Investigations Are Ongoing Two Years Later

Justice Minister Owen Bonnici has claimed investigations into who falsified Egrant documents were still ongoing.

Asked why no action was taken in the past two years, he said he was not the Police Minister.

The Egrant report was published today by the Opposition leader Adrian Delia.

He specified that just because no public statements were made did not mean investigations did not happen.

Bonnici said he cut all ties with financial advisors Nexia BT in 2017. However, he admitted he did not advise the government to cut all ties.

“I don’t know whether other ministries used their services. I don’t know how to answer you,” he said.

Bonnici also stood by the Attorney General despite the Constitutional case which yesterday overturned his decision to not give the Egrant report to the Opposition.
