Watch: Paceville Driver Loading Passengers Into Cab Boot Called Out By Adrian Delia
Footage of a cab driver boarding passenger via the trunk has been shared by PN MP Adrian Delia, with the former Nationalist Leader slamming the reckless behaviour from the driver.
“How long have I been begging to find out how many Y-plates are being given out haphazardly?” Delia asked, before taking it up a notch.
“How long have I been saying they are importing drivers coming from a culture of driving that’s totally alien to ours and even though they don’t know our rules within a week they are on the roads without any training?”
“Look at this video and see what they’ve turned us into.”
In the footage, at least two passengers can be seen boarding the cab from the boot.
A Maltese driver who filmed the scene points out to the driver that what he is doing isn’t right.
The footage has led to a strong reaction online, with some calling out the situation as something someone would find in a “third world country”.
