Watch: Pedestrian Bridge To Replace Msida Coast Traffic Lights
A pedestrian bridge will replace the current traffic lights along the Msida coast, Transport Minister Chris Bonett has announced.
The bridge will be built in Triq Marina as part of the ongoing Msida Creek project, effectively connecting the two Kulleġġ bus stops that are frequently used by Junior College students.
Bonett said the change will reduce vehicle waiting times while improving pedestrian safety in a busy crossing point.
He said the idea for the bridge was originally proposed to him by the KSJC students’ council.
