Watch: Pembroke Secondary Students Set Off Firecracker Inside School Bus

A group of school students from St Clare’s Pembroke Secondary School are currently facing police investigations after setting off a firecracker inside their school bus.
Shocking footage sent exclusively to Lovin Malta shows the exact moment a firecracker was recklessly set off inside the bus, as other students screamed.
The young teens featured in the video, roughly aged between 12 and 16, can all be seen wearing the secondary school’s uniform, in yellow and blue.
As the firecracker is activated, a cloud of smoke can be seen engulfing the enclosed space of the bus. A mix of emotions can be heard shortly after, while some students ran away from the firecracker.
Lovin Malta reached out to the Education Ministry for a comment on the incident, with a representative confirming that they are aware and action has already been taken.
A police report was also filed.
“We are aware of the incident. Action has already been taken by the school’s and college’s administration and a police report has been filed,” the representative told Lovin Malta.
It has been a week of shocking incidents in Malta’s schools, with the recent one being related to a butter knife used during an argument.
