Watch: Peppa Pig Bil-Malti Goes Inclusive With English Subtitles And Maltese Sign Language
Exciting news for families across Malta!
Starting from yesterday Monday 27th January, the beloved animated series Peppa Pig bil-Malti is taking a groundbreaking step towards inclusivity by introducing English subtitles during morning broadcasts and sign language interpretation during afternoon episodes.
This makes Peppa Pig bil-Malti the first TV programme in Malta to feature all three official languages: Maltese, English, and Maltese Sign Language.
This initiative, spearheaded by Media Exclusive, aims to make the adventures of Peppa Pig and her friends more accessible to children of all abilities. By integrating sign language and subtitles, the project embraces diversity and creates equal opportunities for education and entertainment.
“Entertainment should be for everyone,” Media Exclusive shared. “Our mission is to ensure that every child feels seen, heard, and valued. Inclusivity isn’t just an aspiration; it’s a fundamental responsibility.”
