Watch: PL MEP Alex Agius Saliba Releases Campaign Song ‘Dreamers’ Ahead Of Valletta Rally
While it is normal for political parties to release uplifting campaign tracks for general elections, it’s quite unusual for an MEP candidate to do so.
This didn’t stop current Labour MEP Alex Agius Saliba, who will be contesting the upcoming June European elections.
Agius Saliba has released his “official electoral campaign song” titled ‘Dreamers’ by South Korean singer Jungkook.
“Look who we are, we are the dreamers. We make it happen ’cause we believe it,” is the refrain of the song which was part of the 2022 Fifa World Cup official soundtrack.
Yesterday evening, Labour broadcaster Manuel Cuschieri revealed that former Prime Minister Joseph Muscat will be speaking at Agius Saliba’s rally on Saturday, 9th March, in Valletta.
The rally will also feature addresses from Foreign Minister Ian Borg, Economy Minister Silvio Schembri, and outgoing MEP Alfred Sant.
