Watch: PN MP – I Saw A Labour MP Push A Colleague Who Was Filming Us In Parliament
PN MP Rebekah Borg has said she witnessed a PL MP act violently towards one of his own colleagues during a heated Parliament session last week.
Speaking on Net News, Borg hit back at claims by PL MP Naomi Cachia that the Opposition acted “dangerously” during the debate about the Vitals-Steward concession.
“When the sitting was suspended and the cameras were switched off, a PL MP started filming and another MP pushed her from the middle,” she said.

“So for a PL MP to say that we are dangerous… I think she should better see what happened at the time because I honestly couldn’t believe my own eyes.”
Although Borg didn’t name any names, someone from the PL side of the House clearly aimed their camera at the other side of the House while the debate was suspended.
Photos published by PL newspaper Kullħadd show Opposition Leader Bernard Grech and MPs Chris Said and Karol Aquilina in a fit of rage. MPs aren’t allowed to take photos of parliamentary sessions without express permission.
Do you think MPs should be allowed to film each other in Parliament?
