WATCH: PN MPs Throw Fake Money And Chant ‘Mafia’ As They Walk Out Of Parliament And Boycott Future Sittings
The Opposition will be boycotting Parliament for as long as Joseph Muscat remains Prime Minister.
Opposition leader Adrian Delia, along with the rest of the PN MPs, walked out of parliament today, after he announced they will no longer be attending as long as Joseph Muscat remains Prime Minister.
“The Opposition will be leaving immediately and will not participate in Parliamentary work as long as Joseph Muscat remains in the post of Prime Minister, ” Delia said in his opening speech just after 4pm.
Before walking out of Parliament, PN MPs threw fake money from the galleries and chanted ‘Mafia’.
“Joseph Muscat wants to keep manipulating the police investigation to save himself and his best friend, former Chief of Staff Keith Schembri,” Delia said. “For the Opposition, this is not acceptable.”
As Parliament kicked off place, crowds gathered outside ready for yet another protest demanding Joseph Muscat’s immediate resignation.
