Watch: ‘PN Needs A Bridge-Builder, Not A Fighter’ – Alex Borg

Alex Borg started his debate with Adrian Delia yesterday with a declaration that the next PN leader should be a bridge-builder, and not a fighter.

“Some people have remarked that the next PN leader must be a fighter but I believe we need the opposite of that,” Borg said.

“We need a leader who will build bridges with the people we have lost and with people who have never voted for us yet. We need a leader who can win the hearts and minds of people, build bridges with young generations, and reach people who currently feel like political orphans.”

Delia clearly disagreed with this line of thought, saying the PN must “fight the government because it is extremely powerful and has literally no morals”.

“It sells itself out and is even ready to commit fraud in the healthcare sector,” he warned.

“We must fight the government while being open to all those who understand our message and proposals and who are comfortable viewing us as an alternative government.”
