Watch: Priceless Moment Malta Scores Last Gasp Three-Pointer To Beat Andorra In Final Seconds

The dramatic finish to a heated basketball match between Malta and Andorra was captured on film – and it shows the talented Maltese players clinching the win with just seconds left on the clock.
After defeating Azerbaijan on Tuesday, Malta went on to beat Andorra with a final score of 72 – 70 on Thursday – and with just three and a half seconds left on the clock, Tevin Falzon landed a well-aimed three-pointer to end the game with the boys in red in the lead.
Malta will now advance to the semi-finals and will soon be finding out who their next opponent is.
The lead up to the dramatic finish was just as exciting – though nail-biting for Maltese fans who were on the edge of their seats.
Bruno Bartolome sank two free throws to give Andorra a 70-69 lead with just three and a half seconds left to play. Coach Alan Walls however called a timeout, and drew up a play for Falzon to deliver the game-winning triple at the buzzer.
Samuel Deguara again led the scoring with 25 points, David Bugeja added 17, Nelson Kahler 11, and Nathan Xuereb another 10.
Meanwhile, Armenia were on cruise control in Group B. Led by Andre Spight, who put up 55 points in two games, the 2016 champions blew out Gibraltar by 37, and defeated San Marino by 12, clinching first place in the group.
Armenia will play the winner of the Andorra v Gibraltar pairing in the Semi-Finals. Malta await the winner of the duel between San Marino and Azerbaijan. Both Qualification Games take place on Friday and the Semi-Finals on Saturday.
