Protestors blocked Regional Road this afternoon in the latest protest demanding justice for assassinated journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia and the resignation of Prime Minister Joseph Muscat.

The protestors, including several university students, first gathered by the Msida roundabout, stopping cars from passing through, before moving down towards the tunnels.

The protest comes in light of recent events involving the case surrounding the assassination of Daphne Caruana Galizia, most notably the arrest of Maltese businessman Yorgen Fenech and the Prime Minister’s former chief of staff Keith Schembri, who has since been released.

A protest will be held outside Castille this evening.
