Watch: Robert Abela Is Concerned About Joseph Muscat’s Crowd Sizes, PN Leader Claims

PN leader Bernard Grech has claimed Prime Minister Robert Abela is concerned that Joseph Muscat is drawing larger crowds to his events than he is.

In an interview on Andrew Azzopardi’s RTK103 show this morning, Grech said that this concern is the real reason Abela recently warned that the PN is preparing a “trap” for PL supporters who show up to court next Tuesday in a show of solidarity with Muscat.

“If it was true that the PN was preparing some kind of trap, then Abela should have reported it to the police, but he hasn’t done so because he knows it’s just an invention,” Grech said.

“He is realising that Joseph Muscat is drawing larger crowds than him and that the PL’s MEP candidates are inviting Muscat to their events, and not him. Now perhaps they’ll start inviting him to as a response to what I just said.”

“He claimed that there is a trap to convince people not to turn up at court, but Michelle Muscat responded and urged them to attend. The PL is divided and Robert Abela doesn’t have the strength to simply tell people not to attend.”
