Watch: Robert Abela Pledges ‘Historic’ Tax Cuts For Middle Class In Budget
Prime Minister Robert Abela pledged “historic” tax cuts for the middle class in the upcoming Budget.
“The middle class is the backbone of our society, and this government managed to expand it,” Abela said on ONE yesterday.
“Many people now feel that they are part of the middle class which is a positive thing. In the upcoming budget
“We plan to implement the biggest tax cut in history in the upcoming budget in October. The tax bands will be widened in a way that incentivises the middle class, a measure targeted to this sector of hardworking people.”
“We felt we had to show something to give them courage and improve their quality of life.”
