Eman Pulis, the founder of the SiGMA Group, said his group wants to invest in a new state-of-the-art expo centre.

In a recent Popolin episode, Pulis said SiGMA believes Malta deserves such a centre and that his group is ready to invest and participate in its operation.

“Besides SiGMA, we have organised several fairs in Malta, such as for Medtech and blockchain and we’re planing other events,” he said. “These sorts of events attract owners of large companies and foreign entrepreneurs, and we want to build on this success.”

Next year, SiGMA’s flagship annual event will relocate from Malta to Milan, although a smaller-scale event is still planned for Malta in September. This year’s event drew approximately 27,000 delegates and contributed an estimated €100 million to the Maltese economy.
