Watch: The Moment Teenage Boy Is Rescued From Riviera Cliffs In Pitch Dark Operation
Footage sent to Lovin Malta shows the exact moment the 17-year-old teenage male was rescued from Riviera cliffs during pitch dark after falling down.
A rescue operation was launched by members of the Armed Forces of Malta after the English male fell down the height of around six storeys.
Footage shows the exact moment the teenager was lifted from the cliffs by the AFM helicopter.
Police, AFM and members from the Civil Protection Department were called over on-site after the incident occurred at around 8.15pm.
The teenager was rescued by a helicopter, with an ambulance immediately transporting the teen to Mater Dei Hospital.
He was later certified to be suffering from serious injuries and is at risk of dying.
A magisterial inquiry has been launched, while police investigations are still ongoing.
